New additions to the Benro Classic Tripod range

Kenro, the official UK and Ireland distributor of the acclaimed Benro range of tripods has announced the availability of two larger sizes in its Classic Series.

Manufactured from either high quality aluminium or 8 layer Carbon Fibre with magnesium alloy castings, the series of tripods have been designed squarely with the needs of the outdoor photographer in mind. They are the perfect solution for location, wildlife or landscape photographers who need a reliable tripod to take images in challenging conditions.

Fast to set up, tough and reliable, the Benro Classic Tripod Series ensures total flexibility and security. Adjustable leg straps can be independently locked at 3 different angles for shooting in cramped conditions or on uneven surfaces, and ultra-low level shots are allowed by opening the tripod legs, making it possible to work at virtually ground level.

A hook on the bottom of the reversible centre column enables the photographer to hang additional weights thus increasing stability. Another useful tool is the inbuilt spirit level and compass ensuring that the tripod is level whilst providing an accurate direction. Other features include head mounting screws, rapid action flip locks and padded grip on one leg lined with soft NBR.

The two new versions - the 3570F and 4570F - are available in both aluminium and carbon fibre; the latter having a maximum height of 1955mm. The greater extended heights of the new tripods make photographing at full height considerably more comfortable for taller people and allow more flexibility and a wider choice of positioning to all users.

The Benro Classic Tripod series has an SRP of 95.94 pounds to 430.80 pounds including VAT. A durable carry case with straps is included with every tripod and all Benro tripods come with a 5-year warranty.

The Classic Series of tripods are supplied without heads. Choose from Benro's wide selection of Ball, Pan or Gimbal Heads to find the right solution for you.

Kenro Managing Director, Paul Kench commented: "The Classic Series of tripods are the perfect solution for outdoor photographers who regularly have to contend with tough environments. These new larger versions ensure that taller users can be more comfortable and other photographers can gain increased flexibility in their photography."

Fujifilm Instax stars in Lily Allen video

Fujifilm's recently launched instant print camera, the Instax Mini 90 Neo Classic, has made a starring role in the video to promote Lily Allen's new single, 'Hard Out Here'.

Gabriel Da Costa, product manager for Fujifilm, explained more: "Lily is a keen fan of our Instax cameras and was one of the first people to take delivery of the Mini 90. When we were presented with the opportunity to place the camera in her new promo we jumped at the chance. She fits the demographic of Instax users and we see Lily as being a perfect fit for our brand, she's edgy, outspoken and fun.

He continued: "The lyrics of Hard Out Here send a positive message against sexism in pop culture and the video takes a light-hearted dig at the overtly sexual images that appear in many promos."

To see the video head to http://smarturl.it/HardOutHereVideo?IQid=Instax90

Fujifilm plans to use the video as a platform to build the Instax social media presence, as Da Costa said: "Facebook and Twitter are the perfect shop window for Instax and Lily is hugely popular online with over 4.3 million Twitter followers and nearly 3 million on Facebook. While numbers of Instax followers are rather more modest they are growing steadily, and we see social media as a key part of our marketing mix."

Spin-offs from the association include signed stills from the shoot, a behind the scenes storyboard (shot on Instax) and Allen even took time out to sign the actual camera used in the video. All these items will be used as prizes to help promote the Instax range.

For further information on Instax go to www.instax.co.uk or call 01234 572049.
