Membership of the Association of Imaging Professionals (AIP) is open to all companies and individuals who are involved in the professional imaging industry in the UK. The AIP is a trade body representing the interests of the producers of all types of images including traditional photographic printing, exhibition display, signage, banners and wide format prints.
The AIP operates under the auspices of the Photo Marketing Association (PMA) and was formed in 2007 out of the old PPLA. This, in turn, was founded in 1978 and had a long history of serving the traditional Prolab.
